For people who eat
Browse what your local farmers markets and farms are actually selling this week, join a CSA, and message the farmer who grew it. No guessing what is in your food or where it came from.
Farm::Local connects you with the farms near you, and gives those farms the tools to sell directly to you. It's built by Project Almanac Inc.
As people who buy food, we kept running into the same wall. Everyone has an opinion on what a healthy life looks like, but actually finding good food is harder than it should be. The supermarket asks you to trust labels you can't verify, and the cheapest, most visible option is almost always the most processed one.
Meanwhile, the farmers growing real food a few miles away are hard to find online. Many are still selling the way they did twenty years ago, while big platforms take a growing cut of everything sold through them.
So we paired an online marketplace with community supported agriculture. You can see what your local markets are serving, sign up for a farm share, and talk to farmers directly. Farmers get one system to run their CSA, their market stand, their online store, and their wholesale orders.

A storefront, CSA management, point of sale, and wholesale tools that work together, so a small farm can compete online without hiring a tech team.
We prioritize features that strengthen local food systems, not ones that scale industrial supply chains.
Farm software should be as easy to use as a phone. If a farmer needs a manual, we got it wrong.
We charge what it costs to run a great product. No hidden fees and no surprises.
We will never sell your farm data or use it to train AI models. Full stop.
When something breaks, you reach a real person who knows the product and knows farming.
We're building for the next generation of farmers, not the next funding round.

Project Almanac is a small software studio in Troy, NY. We pick areas we think could use some help and build the tools that give people more choices. Local food was an easy pick.
We would rather work on problems that change how people actually live than chase whatever is easiest to pitch. Farm::Local is one of those problems, and we plan to stick with it.

We're in beta and building alongside the farmers and families who use Farm::Local. Join early and help shape what it becomes.
